Itinerary: Tour from Guadalajara
on the old highway to Mexico City. Visit to the villages of Jocotepec, San Juan
Cosala, Ajijic and Chapala. Alongside the entire Lake Chapala Riviera exist
around 500 handicraft shops and factories. San Juan Cosala is famous for its
sulfuric thermal waters used in its local thermal baths. The Chapala region
is also wellknown for its traditional culinary art, typical sweeties and a hot
drink called “ponche de granada”. Free time for lunch and return
to Guadalajara in the afternoon.
