Itinerary:
- Day 1: Departure from Mexico City to Queretaro.
Arrival at the hotel. Time for lunch. Visit of the “Cerro de Campana”
historic monument.
- Day 2: Departure to San Miguel de Allende. Arrival
at the hotel. Visit to the main square, the museum of Ignacio Allende, the home
of the Duque of Canal, the “Concepcion” church and the church of
San Miguel de Allende which is supposed to be a copy of the Dome of Cologne.
Visit to the handicraft market. Rest of the day at leisure.
- Day 3: Departure for Guanajuato via Dolores Hidalgo,
where we will shortly visit church, where in 1810 father Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla
initiated Mexico’s Independence. Arrival at the hotel in Guanajuato. Time
for lunch. Rest of the day at leisure.
- Day 4: Visit to the home-Museum of famous painter
Diego Rivera,University Juarez theatre, the main square and the market. Tour
along the Panorama highstreet, visiting the Pipila monument and the La Olla
Dam.
- Day 5: Departure to Morelia. Arrival at the hotel.
Visit to the historic centre of Morelia with its cathedral, Public Library,
Government Palace, House of handicrafters, Main Square and conservatory. Rest
of the day at leisure.
- Day 6: Continuation of tour to Lake Patzcuaro.
Arrival at the hotel. Visit to the town centre with its House of the eleven
patios, the Cathedral, Don Vasco Square. Time for lunch. In the afternoon tour
to Santa Clara de Cobre Mexico’s Copper Town. Return to the hotel in Patzcuaro.
- Day 7: Departure to Guadalajara. Arrival at the
hotel. Time for lunch. In the afternoon City tour visiting the historic centre
with its Liberation Square, the Cathedral, Government Palace and many other
historic and arquitectural sites.

afternoon tour to Lake Zirahuen. Return to Patzcuaro.
- Day 3: Departure for Morelia. Arrival at the hotel.
